FEATURED VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Mark your calendars for March 23 for 10 for Tupelo! Sponsored by Keep Tupelo Beautiful and Rotary Club of Tupelo, this day will feature a city-wide clean-up and beautification effort.
The 10 in the title refers to the 10 hours the event runs. But don't worry; you are not expected to work for 10 hours (unless you're just really inspired!). Do as much or as little as you want to.
KTB is encouraging everyone to get out and lend a hand in any number of ways: pick up trash, plant some flowers, paint a playground, or anything else you can think of that will make your neighborhood and our town more aesthetically pleasing.
Bring your family out to Fairpark between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to get a free t-shirt, hear some awesome music, and enjoy a day where community members come together to work and play. Need trash bags? Come on out! Need a dumpster for your trash? Come on out! Need some fun activities for your children? Come on out! And on top of all that, from 11:30-1:30, free lunch will be provided!
For more information contact Kathryn Rhea at ktb@tupeloms.gov or 901-871-3353.
