Nonprofit Newsletter

March 11, 2019

UPDATE ON THE NEW VOLUNTEER ONLINE PLATFORM

To date, 16 nonprofits have registered on the new volunteer online hub called Get Connected.

Don't delay! Get your agency registered now! Go to
http://volunteernems.galaxydigital.com
and create your account. By doing so, you can let visitors to the site (potential volunteers) find out about the work you do.

We will soon begin advertising the site, so if you have volunteer opportunities on the horizon, go ahead and post them.  Let potential volunteers know how their skills can be of service to you.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Any time you have information you want shared with the public, let us know. We can create a post or share one you have already created. We're on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Tell your friends to follow us so we can help you get your message out.

Don't Forget

10 for Tupelo

10 for Tupelo will be on Saturday, March 23.

Keep Tupelo Beautiful is inviting ALL nonprofits to set up a table or booth at Fairpark that day from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (or whatever hours suit you.) This is an excellent way to spread the word about the work you do and the volunteer opportunities you have available.

Volunteer Northeast Mississippi will be there. Come join us!

For more information, contact Kathryn Rhea at ktb@tupeloms.gov or

National Volunteer Month

April is National Volunteer Month. This would be the perfect time to show your appreciation for your hard-working volunteers. Everybody likes a pat on the back!
