Our new volunteer hub software (Get Connected) will be up and running soon.  In the meantime, check out these volunteer opportunities.

Are you techno-savvy? If so, Faith Haven needs your expertise. Volunteer to be their webmaster and help them spread the word about all the good work they do.
Life skills don't necessarily come easily. The women who seek shelter at SAFE, Inc. could use your help. If you can share your knowledge, you can help them become independent and successful.
Meals on Wheels delivers hot meals to senior citizens. They run 11 routes, and each route takes only about an hour. Imagine the amount of good you can do for only an hour a week!
It takes about 15 volunteers to load boxes on Friday nights and 25 volunteers to distribute them on Saturday mornings. Can you help? Even if you cannot lift much, you can be of assistance in other ways.
INFORMATION FOR NONPROFITS
YOUR VOLUNTEERS ROCK!

Your volunteers are integral to the success of your nonprofit, right? Show them how much you appreciate them!  One way to do so is to present them with a Certificate of Appreciation and a Letter of Thanks signed by the first lady of Mississippi and the executive director of Volunteer Mississippi.

AND SPEAKING OF VOLUNTEERS....

Remember that April 7-13 is National Volunteer Week. It's the perfect time to recognize your volunteers for all their hard work, and Volunteer Northeast Mississippi wants to help. Since we are a new entity, we would love to hear your ideas about ways to celebrate your volunteers. Let us know what you do or what you would like to do, and tell us how we can help.
